Our Data Enrichment API is proprietary technology that was developed through our many years getmonof experience with financial markets. It essentially consists of an asynchronous check, cross referencing publicly available data as well as our own databases, to enrich the provided data, while returning additional information that you can use to assist in guiding your process of making a decision whether the data provided by your customer or public is consistent or not.

By simply providing two of the three data points, such: email, phone and address, our technology fetches social profiles, public records, address and geolocation data, relatives info, email domain information, caller name, carrier, phone number ownership, caller ID and caller name, and returns an enriched set of data that assigns a score which serves as a judgement of the information’s consistency given the following fraudster profiles: friendly fraud (chargeback fraud), application fraud, account takeover, bin attack, as well as several others.

For each fraud context given, we define a set of statements such as, “does the email owner match the caller name?” or, “is the address provided within a 100 mile range of where this phone is registered?” or, “is this email old enough to be trustable?” or, “is the domain extracted from the email a reputable domain?” and so on as our technology generates the score. Through your PayCertify Account you can define rules and automatically trigger actions when the transaction meets criteria you would consider fraud.
