Ruleset configuration

You will also need to set up a ruleset for Kount on your publishable key configuration. By default we offer the following rulesets:

  • Very strict ruleset If you want to allow only the transactions that Kount™ recommends as safe;
  • Strict ruleset You can also establish a “cut” on the SCOR property. Usually anything over 50 is risky;
  • Permissive ruleset Only rejects transactions that SCOR threshold is very high and Kount explicitly declines.
  • Custom ruleset Through our rule operators, you can use the following list of the parameters and example values that you will get from a Kount response to create your own ruleset:
